Payment terms vary between buyers depending on the length of the business relationship and the value of each order. The majority of payment terms will be 30% payment on confirmation of order and the balance prior to shipment. New buyers will be required to have a Letter of Credit drawn up reflecting these payment terms. After a time, it may not be necessary to draw up a Letter of Credit for certain buyers, but payment terms will usually be no later than a few days prior to dispatch of the order. We value buyers that have a good credit history and will reward accordingly with favourable payment terms.
A buyer’s contract is drawn up for joint compliance on the basis of equity and mutual benefit. in addition to the standard purchasecontract contents, the contract will contain product and shipping information, payment terms and value. They will also contain a list of documents, to be produced at specific intervals during the order process, which will be country and product specific. Each parties cost allocation and responsibilitries are clearly laid out. Great care is taken to assure the smooth fulfillment of each order and also that all contingencies have been provided for within the contract.
